GCI Chicago providers and staff extend a special Thank You to all of our patients, families, and colleagues as navigating the past 16 months was difficult as we faced new challenges in our personal lives and in healthcare. We understand how COVID-19 affected your daily activities emotionally, mentally, and physically. We are blessed to provide care to our wonderful communities.
GCI Chicago still requires a mask to be worn in the office as the CDC recommends this in health care settings.
GCI Chicago invites patients to bring one guest with them to an office visit. However, we are still not allowing guests in the Infusion Center due to the weakened immune systems of our patients undergoing treatment. We ask that if the patient and/or guest experiences any signs or symptoms of COVID-19, you reschedule your appointment. Also, we may reschedule your appointment based on recent travel or COVID-19 exposures. We ask for your honesty and patience as we adapt to new standards and processes.
MASKS REQUIRED IN THE OFFICE
Effective Friday, April 24, 2020 @ 8:00am, the village of Oak Lawn requires all employees and visitors to wear a face covering in essential businesses. Acceptable coverings include, but not limited to, a non-medical grade mask, cloth or plastic mask, scarf, bandana, or handkerchief.
GCI Chicago asks for your cooperation in this matter. The office does not have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) available for patient use. Please bring your own mask to your appointment.
